Eric has had a storied career as an investor in, advisor to, and operator of private and public growth companies.

Eric’s investing experience includes more than 25 years of backing leading consumer marketplace and eCommerce providers (e.g., Blue Nile, Zulily, Ebates, STANCE), financial service and insurance technology companies (e.g., Avant, Amount, Kin Insurance), SaaS platform businesses (e.g., HouseCallPro, FourKites), and advertising infrastructure providers (e.g., PubMatic, Integral Ad Science). Prior to founding Lobby Capital, Eric was a partner at August Capital and Continental Investors.

Eric’s transactional experience includes serving as Co-Head of Technology Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch & Co. and as an Executive in Residence at Golden Gate Capital.

Eric’s operating experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer for several public and private companies including Provide Commerce (acquired by Liberty Media Interactive), IKANO Communications, Inc., Authorize.Net (acquired by Go2Net) and Einstein Noah Bagel Corporation, which he took public.

A native Chicagoan, Eric received a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He lives in San Diego with his wife, Michelle, their four children, and dog, Wrigley.
